Why hello there! I'm glad you found my page. I hope it is a brief respite, that you learn a little something about who I am, and that it makes you crack a smile. Or a smirk. I'll settle for a smirk. 

 

I'm a "communications" person by trade, but please, think of me instead as a storyteller. I was a journalist once, with a beat in higher education, but now I lend my talents as a communications specialist, a speech writer, and a social media manager for institutions of higher learning. I like to tell student stories, and to make sure the public knows about all the great programming that is available to them in their communities and in their schools.  Learning is a joy, and I want everyone to have the opportunity to study and grow. 

 

I'm really just a Buffalo, NY girl who never stopped traveling and never stopped being fascinated by the world. I've lived in Russia, Ghana, San Diego, Albany, Los Angeles, and now Spokane. I find something to love in each new place, and a story to tell no matter where I am.

I love a good story, I love jokes, and given the time I would probably love you.

Find me playing Dungeons and Dragons or reading Pride and Prejudice on a rainy day. Send a letter to "somewhere in the woods, U.S." or CC my dog, Zero (though he's a terrible secretary and often loses my messages.)

They say before the age of 35 you have no advice to give. But I'm giving some anyway: Be kind to each other, find a campfire, and tell some stories.
